freedom of being, in the fullest sense erodes any foundation of responsibility. freedom as such does not exist in beings, perhaps in Being and hence the possibility that beings could exist in the first place as violent up swells or condensations of Being. however, Being is not responsible for beings in this sense. it is a gift of ontology. real freedom requires that break from Being. but within that break, in order to not be subsumed into Being again through actions, to maintain selfhood is to make choices. That permeation of self which is a being emanated from Being by its own violence, there must exist multiplicity and a principle of multiplicity. for convenience and existential accuracy this is the self. to understand the relations of absolute spontaneous freedom and choice it is necessary to understand the violent ontological situation of the self. that is as a violent divergence from the eternal Being. as soon as the self exists as a being then absolute freedom becomes qualified as that quality by which the singularity of the self is maintained. It is in the tension here, the self is a being which at some point was violently torn from Being. However insofar as the self is, it maintains absolute freedom yet it also maintains its very singularity as self, particular, multiplicity within the univocal singularity. To say that the self is absolutely free is to posit the self as the Being eternal. And in doing so to remove responsibility in an absorbent univocity. What we experience phenomenologically is the tension that is a residue from our departure from Being. that is we are both radically spontaneously randomly chaotically free on the one hand, and on the other hand yet a violent singularity of being. in this situation what arises is the necessity of whilst being a being freedom becomes a qualified relational and thus responsibility becomes ontologically actual. There never exists a potentiality of responsibility. it is a co-emergent existent of being violently torn from Being. emerging of the same stratum of existence the one accompanies the other yet is now in a struggle to maintain itself in the face of its eternal heritage which is unqualified freedom. in this birthing struggle the self is inherently referential, a locus. therefore all action while being emanated from a being which tore itself from Being is both essentially radically free yet always qualified by the locus of singularity. it is only in the giving up of the self that the return to authentic freedom is actualized and the violence of being a being is negated. and yes obviously choosing not to choose to return to eternal freedom is still a choice made by the singularity maintaining its violent post in the void outside of Being. give it up!
